Monkfish has a very unusual body with a very large flat head and huge sharp teeth and lives at depths from 20 to 1000 meters, where of course there is no light. Monkfish has a lamp still there – it has a light organ in an extension of the body of the jaw. For the production of the light source provide the bacteria.
