Second Hand Shop, De Bilt, NL Architects of BYTR
How beautiful! A thrift shop where the shop design is also not second hand.
Or at least almost! BYTR Architects from Rotterdam had determined a lot of fun with this project: For the Emmaus shop they built from old table with cardboard and goods carriers a wall shelf. A galvanized cable channel is transformed into a chandelier and gives pleasant indirect light. The rest of the store is painted bright white, then, the internals take off best. As convincing as a simple idea can be when it is well!
