This exclusive country house was designed and built by Sonia Miralles Mud Mutxamel, Alicante, Spain, in 2009. Energy efficiency and environmental protection have been in the configuration.
Concrete energy efficient home offers comfortable living
The modern residence located on Marseta mild sunny slope, surrounded by olive, orange and mulberry trees, cypresses, pines, poplars and elms. The floor area of 135 square meters are available bedrooms, bathroom, living room with kitchen. The high ceiling makes it a more spacious feeling of space. The concrete house was partly as a mud hut buried in the ground. Seen from afar the green roof acts as "camouflage". On Betrachen is near the green roof, thrive on Laveldel, rosemary, Pennisetum species, a beautiful eye-catcher.

Inside, the furniture is simple. Only individual residential interior design details give their characteristic appearance. All walls and ceilings are plastered and white-gray. The kitchen cabinets are white and without handles. Small windows offer views of the rolling countryside. The fireplace provides comfort and safety. The concrete house Sonia Miralles Mud is equipped with underfloor heating and natural ventilation. Double walls and cross ventilation for a comfortable indoor climate to warm the air in winter and passive cooling in summer.
