Casa San Sen is a wooden house located in Valle de Bravo, Mexico, out in the woods. It was designed, by the architect Alejandro Sanchez Garcia. The house fits the shape of the surrounding landscape but achieves stability from being built on stilts. The house is designed with a flat roof.

Surrounded by lush forest, the wooden house fits very well with the natural landscape. It covers an area of 860m2 and includes a comfortable living room, 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and a wooden terrace with loungers. The family residence was built in 2008, according to the current trend – open and generous. The design of the modern facade with wood paneling allows the construction of a really eye-catching property.

The modern wooden house footprint is designed with the utmost transparency, the sides of the house are fully glazed. The terraces are used as an extension of the interior in different directions.

Flat ceilings and glass give any room in the house a visual link with the landscape. Inside, the architects Alejandro Sanchez and Garcia Arquitectos played with height and width, space and light. Thus, they show the variability of the open area. They blend comfort and relaxation in the breathtaking heart of nature.
