These beautiful wallpaper designs with marble patterns were created by Calico Wallpaper. Designers Rachel Mosler and Nick Cope established their studio in Brooklyn, New York, where they produce distinctive wall coverings with metallic patterns. The designs shown here focus on two main color directions: white and gold, and silver-blue.
Calico Wallpaper: process and creation
The idea began with reproducing the look of marble on paper, then developed into a collection of patterned wall coverings. The process combines carefully prepared paper with a high-quality base to create large-scale wallpaper with a soft, marbled effect.

Calico wallpapers: colors and patterns
Calico’s marble-pattern wallpapers are mainly shown in two color combinations. The gold-and-white design is called Wabi, while the silver-gray design is called Lunaris and is inspired by the surface of the moon. Wabi suggests the movement of water around rocks in a stream or river.
