Luxury villa on the slopes with stylish furnishings and stunning sea views
St. Leo 10 is a luxury home on a hill in the affluent suburb of Bantry Bay, Cape Town, South Africa. With breathtaking views of the rocky coastline and a stylish interior design, fabrics and styles combined with taste. The house was a joint project of SAOTA and Antoni Associates, completed in 2006.
Luxury villa on the slopes of SAOTA and Antoni Associates
This modern house was designed for a family with two young boys who wanted a house at the same time casual family gatherings or large parties. The property is built on a steep slope, with about 50% of its back was cut below the natural ground level. Floats on the upper level terrace with swimming pool.
The facade of the luxury home on a hill
The house is arranged in a linear way, and all rooms have views of the Twelve Apostles mountain, Clifton Beach and Robben Island. The rear of the house offers privacy with no openings except for the glazed entrance. The façade is screened with a wooden lattice solid steel.
Solid wood and steel facade
The solid wood door leads into the large living room with 2 lounges, dining room and kitchen. A sculptural staircase leads to the second floor and bedroom floors. The entertainment district of the spacious swimming pool is open with access to the Onyx Bar with backlight and a wine cellar. A seating area is slightly reduced and provides an interesting look into the pool. A fitness room and a second bedroom are on the lower level.

At the entry level, the interior is designed with a neutral palette. With a subtle interplay between the materials and fabrics chosen. The light leather and weathered wood surfaces are combined with luxurious decorative elements. The atmosphere in the house is warm and inviting.
